Nandivardanam / Tabernaemontana

Tabernaemontana is a genus of flowering plants in the family Apocynaceae. It comprises approximately 120 species of shrubs and small trees, most of which are native to tropical regions of Africa, Asia, and Australia. The genus was named in honor of Jakob Theodor von Bergzabern, also known as Tabernaemontanus, a 16th-century German botanist and physician.
